Licensing

Every product on DuingZ Forge comes with one of two license types. Understanding which applies to your use case protects both you and the creator.

Standard

Personal License

Ideal for individual creators using assets in personal, non-commercial, or educational projects.

What's included

Use in personal projects (films, animations, game jams)

Use in educational and student productions

Modify assets for personal use

Use in projects displayed for portfolio purposes

Use in client work where the final client owns the deliverable

Not permitted

Resell, redistribute, or share the asset files

Include the asset in another product sold or given away

Use in templates sold to multiple clients

Transfer the license to another person

Extended

Commercial License

Designed for studios, agencies, and businesses using assets in commercial productions, products, or templates.

What's included

All Personal License rights

Use in commercial productions (ads, broadcast, streaming)

Use in products for sale (e.g., video game, commercial film)

Modify and adapt assets for commercial workflows

Use in templates sold to unlimited clients (end-product license)

Use by teams and studios under a single organization

Not permitted

Resell the original, unmodified asset files

Claim authorship of the original asset

Sublicense or transfer the license to another party

Use in products that compete directly with the original asset

General Licensing Rules

Usage Rights

A license grants you the right to use an asset within the terms defined above. Licenses are tied to the purchasing account and may not be transferred to another individual or organization without explicit written permission from DuingZ Forge.

Resell Restrictions

Reselling, redistributing, or sharing original asset files — whether free or paid — is strictly prohibited under all license types. You may incorporate assets into a larger work, but the raw asset files themselves may never be distributed.

Modification Rights

Both license types allow you to modify, adapt, and build upon assets for your projects. Modified versions of assets are subject to the same resale and redistribution restrictions as the original.

Commercial Usage

The Commercial License is required when assets are used in products or productions that generate revenue, whether directly (product sales) or indirectly (client work delivered for pay with end-product distribution rights). When in doubt, the Commercial License is the appropriate choice.

License Enforcement

DuingZ Forge actively monitors for unauthorized distribution and misuse of licensed assets. Violations may result in account suspension, legal action, and claims for damages on behalf of the original creator.
