Troubleshooting
Find quick solutions for common issues regarding downloads, files, addons, and payments.
Download Issues
Problem: The download stops midway or fails to start.
Solution:
- Check your internet connection stability.
- Clear your browser cache or try downloading from an incognito window.
- If you are downloading a very large file, try using a download manager.
- Remember, you can always retry the download from the Purchases tab in your Dashboard.
File Not Working or Corrupted
Problem: The archive (.zip/.rar) won't extract, or the 3D file won't open.
Solution:
- Ensure the download finished completely. Incomplete downloads cause "corrupted archive" errors.
- Use an updated extraction tool like 7-Zip or WinRAR.
- Check the product page to ensure you are using a compatible software version (e.g., trying to open a Blender 4.0 file in Blender 3.0 may cause issues).
Addon Not Installing
Problem: Blender (or other software) says the addon installed, but it doesn't appear.
Solution:
- Do not extract the .zip file. Addons must usually be installed directly from the compressed .zip format.
- Ensure you checked the box to enable the addon after installing.
- Open the software console (Window > Toggle System Console in Blender) to check for specific error messages and send those to the creator.
Payment Issues
Problem: Payment failed or the asset didn't appear after checkout.
Solution:
- Check if the funds were actually deducted from your bank/PayPal.
- If deducted but the asset isn't in your Dashboard, there might be a slight delay in the payment gateway. Wait 5-10 minutes and refresh your Purchases page.
- Ensure you don't have active VPNs blocking the payment gateway.
When to Contact Support
If you have tried the steps above and still face issues:
- For asset-specific bugs (e.g., bad topology, broken rig), contact the Creator directly.
- For platform issues (e.g., payment errors, missing downloads from the dashboard), contact DuingzForge Support through the Help Center. Please include your Order ID and screenshots of the error.
